Tiny Bit o' Yarn Porn...
Lonnie and I took a spur of the moment getaway and, of course, we stopped at yarn shops along the way, only 2 this time and I was on the prowl for sock yarn this time, sock yarn that will be cool for Lonnie for the summer (well, and for me, too ).
I am so happy to announce that I found TOFUtsies right away! I can already tell that this is going to be a favorite (as all SWTC yarns are for me thus far).
I was happy to find a skein suitable for men's socks and a very springy one for me!
I hope to have lots more yarn porn tomorrow, Lonnie and I are going to our local yarn shop which, I'm sad to say, is going out of business here and is relocating to Long Island. This sale was referenced in an earlier post...I got an email today, so we decided that we will be there when the doors open to see if we can find a thing or 2...I can't resist yarn and Lonnie loves a sale............

Oh, me too, I can't wait to use it! I had hoped to begin Lonnie's socks with one of them, but he wants a light tan pair 1st, so we got some today when we went yarn shopping....twice...LOL! Let's see, we got 3 skeins of Lamb's Pride in a tweedy purple to redo my Backyard Leaves scarf and ensemble; 8 skeins of sock yarn for Lonnie and 3 balls of Jagger Spun tussah silk/merino wool lace wt yarn for a shawl and a scarf....all very, very nice and lots of FUN. We got this on the 1st trip and then went back to get some more Jagger There's nothing quite as much fun as yarn shopping with my sweet hubby! LOL, he was steady picking out sock yarn, too! he love, loves his handknit socks, isn't that just too cool
