knitting wizard software questions
I wonder how those works??? any recommendation ???

the sweater wizard - does it chart out a sweater pattern using the liking of lace pattern i input to it ??? how do it works ??

and the stitch and motif wizard....anyone owns one ???

i am very curious what they can do for knitters like us ......

I have the trial versions of both and they are pretty cool. I haven't made a sweater with it, but I've used the trial version to make simple fair isle charts for hats.

It looks like the attachment below. The trial version doesn't allow a lot of adjustment, but you can make the grid a little larger and play with the colors and chart symbols.

Personally I don't know if I'd buy it at this point. I don't have enough knowledge about charts, but it works great this way for simple fair isle.

No, It looks like blocks of color. You might be able to make a fancy chart with the purchased version. I prefer plain, simple fair isle so it works for me.

I have sweater wizard and it does not write out your design, it just tells you where to start your design by the number of repeats in design.Like cables,It tells you where and when to place them
