Should have gone toe up...now I need advice!
Good morning, all!

I have just finished knitting my third sock ever!

I only had a small ball of yarn, though, so I made the cuff smaller than I wanted it to make sure that I would have enough yarn to finish (I have really big feet). Now that everything is done, I have enough yarn to make the cuff longer.

My question is: what is the best way to do that? Should I pick up stitches along the edge of the cuff? Or is there something else I can do?

Thanks!
Rebecca

You can do that, but it will probably leave a ridge and show a bit. Personally I'd leave them short and consider it a lesson learned.
