I think I'm in my third or fourth repeat of the pattern. It is getting more relaxing for me as it goes along, not the stress it was at first with figuring out the pattern and all. Thanks to all of you who found or made the corrections!

I honestly haven't thought about how I'll finish it. I just keep wondering how long it will take me to finish. I'm glad it will be a Christmas present!

I just started my Mom's shawl today...tried on Saturday and messed up. So, I went out in my Florida room, sat down and started knitting again today. I've gotten through all 30 rows and HAVE A PATTERN...WOOHOO!

Thanks Cookworm and Debbie for the corrections! It's going to be beautiful! And it's going to take forever...LOL! Good thing her Birthday is not until August! I'm using Plymouth Encore on size 8 needles!

This pattern is really easy...I'm a new knitter since last October and I have learned several new things on this shawl...K YO K into the same stitch and Slip 2, K, PSSO! When I first started knitting and would look at patterns, I would get so frustrated at what all those initials meant...and now I'm finally getting it! I LOVE KNITTING!

Ok...I got thru 21-30 again! Wow! I found a mistake and fixed it...I'm so happy about that!

Along with you, I can see that I'm going to need some different needles before long. I'm using US 8 24inch, but am going to need a longer cord before long...what are you all using for your shawl?

This is a cool pattern and a challenge for me and I'm loving it! I wonder how many stitches we'll have when it's at it's final width? I like knitting with the worsted weight yarn...but if I make one for myself, I think I'm going to try the Bulky!

What happened to Contiknitter and his pictures?

If anybody retypes the pattern the correct way, I would love one...guess I could do it myself...LOL!

All I did was copy & paste the original into a Word document, then insert the changes and print the whole thing out. Big help for me!

I want your purple shawl...I LOVE PURPLE! It is beautiful! What yarn are you using? I'll have to make a purple one for myself..LOL!

I'd use the 60 inch. I'm going to need longer ones soon and I haven't got a longer one of the same needle size

That is SO beautiful! My mom's favorite color is purple and now I'm wishing I'd used it instead of cream.

Maybe I will make two...
