I just found this thread again, and had to go through 15 pages before I saw a finished shawl! (That's what I was looking for). Your pup looks adorable under that shawl. Beautiful color too!

Cookworm, rather than posting this in the general forum thread, I thought I'd put it here for you... This is sorta what I might end up doing, I don't like that garter border really at all, but I don't know if what I'm thinking will work till i get to that point really. Purling may pull those last flames together too much... not sure. Anyways, this is my idea:
