new online knitting mag (in Spanish!): Tejemanejes
We've launched a new free online knitting mag (the first ever in Spanish):

Tejemanejes.com

Even if you don't speak Spanish, have a look. Most patterns have charts and one of the patterns is available in English too.

Me gustan los calcetines! I speak spanish a bit, it would be a great way to practise it! I noticed that for "knit" and "purl", the expressions are similar to what we use in French!

Que padre, gracias! Al fin puedo combinar dos de mis cosas favoritas: Tejer y espanol. Puedes agregar algo que ver con caballos? Y el show Prison Break? Seria lo maximo, todas mis intereses en una sola revista...lol.

Thanks for your interest! It's very encouraging for us.

"tejer" means "to weave" and (for lack of a better word) "to knit"
"manejar" means "to handle" (from "mano" = "hand")
"tejemaneje" means 1. activity, bustle 2. monkey business

Despite the negative connotations of the word "tejemanejes", we chose it because we liked the idea that the "teje" bit worked for knitting and the "manejes" bit for other hand-made crafts (since we might or might not include other crafts later on).
