How do I knit this?
I'm not sure how to do this, so you'd be my new superhero friend if someone could direct me.

Row 8: K3, *K2tog. Repeat from * ending K4. (This row I can do.)
Row 9: K3, *K1, insert needle under next hroizontal loop of row below (between sts) and knit this st. Repeat from * across, ending K4.

Sooooo, how do I knit this horizontal stitch since I can't really pop it off a needle? Do I go ahead and put the working needle up through, yo, put the working needle back down and call it good? I'm not sure...

If I were doing this, for the horiz strand I'd just insert your RH needle (front to back, as usual) K in place. Kind of a 'up (st on ndl), down (horiz strand), up, down' motion (with each 'down' K st making your inc from row below). ETA: when you work the horiz strand, wrap your yarn just loose enough so you have enough length to come back out the front and then insert your ndl in the st on LH ndl (the K st of the seq).

HTH,

cam

That's kind of what I thought, but I wanted to make sure before I actually did it. Basically do a normal knit stitch doing everything BUT slipping it off the needle (as it's not on a needle to begin with). Thanks a bunch!!!
