Do you ever finish a shawl without adding the fringe? It would definitely save time, and some people may prefer not to have the fringe.

If I see a need for a shawl without fringe (for example, if it's for a man), I will not add it.

I keep forgetting to post that I got Flower Garden in the mail on Saturday - or Monday - can't remember. Thanks Sandy! I need to get yarn for it - I have perused my stash (which isn't huge, but is by no means small) and I have found a problem - I have NOTHING bright! There is lots of purples, greens, blues, pinks with blue tones, neutral colors ... but EVERYTHING is muted. I never realized how much the tone could make a difference!

I guess I'll just have to fix that

I got Blue Skies and Autumn Glow in the mail today. I will need to get to the yarn store but it will need to wait a few days before I can get there. Shandeh I can't wait to read the book. I some nights wish I could knit while laying in bed, so instead of knitting I will read about it instead.

I arrived home last night (around 8pm) and my hubby hands me this box. I notice that's it from Shandeh and my first thought is "Oh no an oddball baby blanket arrived and I didn't remember". I first asked him when this came, he said "oh last wednesday or thursday I think". GEEZ. I of course asked him why he didn't TELL me it had arrived. Here I'm all worried this blanket has been sitting for a couple days and I didn't even know it. So I couldn't even let everyone know it had arrived safe and sound.

To my suprise it was a BEAUTIFUL oddball care shawl. I want to personally thank each and every one of the ladies that took the time to knit the Mysty Blues shawl. It's absoluately gorgeous!

When I'm a bit more presentable I'll be sure to take a picture of it on so you ladies can also marvel at your beautiful handywork!
