The PA convention center is somewhat near Rosie's Yarn Cellar. The convention center is at 12th and 13th and Arch and Rosie's is at 20th and Locust. Loop is at 19th and South. So you'll be about 8 blocks East and 5 blocks North of Rosie's and you'll be 12 blocks North of Loop. If you're looking for space and variety you want to go to Loop. If you want reasonable prices you go to Rosie's. If you would like I could take you to one of the best places in Philly and it's in one of the most historic areas of the city. Tangled Web is an amazing LYS it has the space and variety of Loop and the prices of Rosie's. They always have tons of Mmmmmmmmmmmmmalabrigo!!! PM me and let me know if you'd like a LYS tour.
