What is a c2r? I'm knitting Seize Diamondback Sock Pattern.
Hi Y'all,

I stumped by a c2r cable stitch. I know how to do this cable stitch in normal cable but this pattern's direction for this goes as the following:

c2r (cross 2 right): Slip the second st from the tip on the L needle pwise, twist needle clockwise to position to knit the next st. Hold the slipped st in place, knit the next st normally and slide both off needle. This takes some practice.

Have any of you done this one before and can you explain it to me better.
Like when you slip the second stitch from the L needle do you also bring the first stitch with it? And do you hold these stitches on the R needle? Hold the stitches where? And slide the stitches where...?

I really appreciate all the help you can give me on this. I usually can figure these things out, but not so lucky this time.

Thank you.

Patty

Your stitches are on the left needle. Put the right needle tip into the second stitch in from the left tip, purlwise.

Now twist around and knit the first stitch that's at the point of the left needle, making sure the slipped stitch doesn't fall off. Then slide both of them off the left needle. You'll have your knit stitch and slipped stitch now over on the right needle, but they will be crossed.
