KP's Bare laceweight yarns
Has anybody used KP's "Bare" laceweight yarns for lace shawls without dyeing the color? I was just wondering how you liked it the end result.

The Knitpicks merino laceweight yarn is rough in my opinion. If you are not going to dye it then I think you might be better off buying something else like Zephyr in white or ecru:

It's a few dollars more but well worth it. I've made several shawls with Zephyr and love the silky feel of the yarn.

It is a bit rough, but Knit Picks other laceweight yarns (i.e. Shadow and Alpaca Cloud) are very soft and come in many colors.
