Fit knitter!
I've just been watching the build up to the London Marathon, which is happening here in the UK today, and saw an interview with a lady called Susie Hewer. She is going to run the marathon whilst knitting! And she's trying to get the record for the "Longest Scarf Knitted Whilst Running a Marathon".

Here's her chairty site --> http://www.justgiving.com/extremeredhead

And blog --> http://www.extremeknittingredhead.blogspot.com/

I hope she makes it around ok!!

Wow! That has to be hard to do! I'd have to concentrate on putting one foot in front of the other and not tripping. Good for her!

I knit and walk but I've never tried to knit and run. I hope she doesn't trip!!!

I have thought about bring my knitting with me when I workout. I could probably knit on the treadmill.

Im always in awe of people who do the marathon anyway, but to do it knitting is impressive. i wonder how she got on.

I spent saturday at a karate tournament, i wasnt due to compete till 17:00 but had been there since 8:00. so what did i do, i sat there cheering people on all day and knitted away. Its been decided that i need to staart knitting us GKR (our club) scraves and hats for winter tournaments! - knitting and sport do mix!!
