100% Camel Hair yarn
Do any of you have experience working with this type of yarn? What can you tell me about it?

I've not used it, you can ask Kemp, she sells it at her store.
I want to try it, too....I love to try unusual fibers

I used Natural Fantasy Baby Camel. It was super soft. I bought it on ebay, 2 skeins (around 120 yards each) for $16. I used it doubled (fingering weight) to make a hat, unfortunately for me the style of the hat looked better on my sister, so I gave it to her. I like to remind her how lucky she is with her baby camel hat. If she loses it, I may have to find a new sister. From what I heard, it is really, really warm.

Candice, does this yarn shed? If so, how bad? I was looking at some that said it had guard hairs. Can you explain that to me?

I did not notice any shedding. Sorry I can't be any help on the guard hairs, I have heard the terminology, but can't remember what I read. Which yarn are you looking at?

I noticed it on ebay and wondered how it would be to work with. I have seen camel hair blazers for men and they too are very soft to the touch.
