What's your favorite hat pattern?
Hey everyone,

I'm just looking for ideas for a cool hat, so I'm just wondering what some of your favorite hat patterns are.

Thanks!

I love this hat! It is simple but really pretty.

my favorite hat pattern is "Kim's Hat" in Last Minute Knitted Gifts. It guves you measurements for toddler up to XLMan hats, and gives suggestions on adding different brims, toppers, stripes, etc.

There's a simliar but much more detailed "generic" hat pattern in "The Handy Book of Knitting Patterns.

Hope you like them... there's nothing better than a generic pattern you can
"gussy up" .

Hildie.

I love Odessa, from Knitty. It's not exactly a beginner's hat because of the beads, but I get comments whenever I wear mine and it was really easy. Great "bang" for the knitting buck.

sitten, do you have a link? I tried looking up Odessa on Knitty, but they don't have any documents matching that word.

Odessa was actually on Mag Knits - here is the link for you. I think it would look great without the beads too.

Ooooh... that Odessa one is nice too..

At the rate I'm going I'll have a ton of hat patterns, then I'll have to choose one, or make a bunch of hats!
