My husband learns fast...
Last night the phone rang about 7:30 and my husband answered. I heard him say "she can't talk right now, she's turning her heel". When he hung up he just looked at me and went "right"? I said yep, and went right on knitting...

It's made me giggle all day when I think about it

Wow.

That's the kind of man I want. Does he have a brother?

Good for you! You've got him well trained!! Have you trained him to hold your yarn while you wind it? If not that's the next thing you have to teach him to do. Men can be domesticated it just takes patience and a little time.

How funny! Only 13, don't have a dh, but I have a dad and a brother that don't get what knitting is about...my dad even thought circular needles were "cheating"! I need to teach them...can you come over my house? I'll pay you!

You need to do a tutorial! Kinda like the sock one I can't remember the name of right now

Sounds like you have a keeper there!

heehee this is like my dh. I was dying yarn the other night, and while winding it, it became a big tangled mess. he sat down on the floor with me and helped me unravel the whole thing. Then later, at my spinning wheel, he said "that looks really relaxing..you should teach me sometime"
