Need simple hat pattern - k1p1 using 2 needles(not circular)

Hi,

Can anyone post a link to a simple hat/beanie pattern that is k1p1 for the entire hat and uses two needles rather than circular needles. I tried to adapt a pattern I had the the ribbing was screwed up with my decreasing.
