Flat knitting on circular needles
I'm a new knitter trying to figure out how to use circular needles when not joining the two ends. I have cast on and...now what? How do I make my first stitch without joining the ends together????

Just turn the needles and begin with the first stitch, like you would regular, separate needles. The stitches you knit from will be on the left needle, and you'll knit them onto the needle in your right hand. That's it!
