I don't have a swift (yet) but the ball winder I have is the Royal one that Joann's sells. I really like it, but sometimes I have problems with it staying clamped to the table. My dining room table has a beveled edge, and the clamp part is just a little too short to really get a good hold on it. My coffee table, however, has a nice 90 degree angle cut, and that works great.
OTN - too many things at once (if that's possible).
FOs- knitty's "back to school" for the sister, and lots of single socks (I'm a repeat victim of SSS).
