Leftover yarn?
I have a gorgeous ball of light blue nylon fuzzy yarn and no pattern. The scarf I was making only required 1 ball and I can't return it. I don't want another scarf and the yarn is too pretty for a bag. What can I make with size 8 or 15 straight needles?

A hat?

I was thinking, if the scarf is meant for warm weather it might be cute to use the same furry yarn as the cuffs for mittens, the brim on a hat, the entire hat, trim on a coordinating bag, I even made a felted umbrella holder- a novelty yarn would make great trim for something like that.
