FO:Shrug
So my niece has her grade 8 graduation soon and she got herself a skinny strapped dress and she is very bashful about her looks so Grandma asked me to make her a shrug or something to cover up her upper arms so I made her this shrug. I looked at all kinds of patterns and ended up taking her measurements and went from there. I will hopefully get a pic of her wearing it with her dress but grad isn't till June. Her dress is an off white kind of almost champagne color (I think) and she has very blue eyes and this shrug will bring them out. Now if she would quit dyeing her darn hair funky colors till after grad.

Oh yeah I had no way to model it cause laying on the floor it would just look like a big square so I made my son try it on just to pose for pics to show you all so a big thank you to my son.Oh yeah the shirt he is wearing he just got today. He won a terrific kids award for the second time this school year.

Pretty shrug!
I know I wouldn't have posed for anything my mom would have made, and I'm a girl!

My son is awesome. He is a really great sport and a real big ham too. I was sewing a skirt for a different niece who is around his age and I kept trying it on him and he would let me it was great, I wish I would have got pics of that to show his girlfriends when he is older.
