Mark my words. I think this is a story created by Stephen King for TV. Anyone who's read The Dark Tower series will see a lot of similarities. Stephen King is known for doing things anonymously and I wouldn't be surprised if he's a silent producer.

In any event, last night's epi was fantastic. Although it was hard for him, I'm happy for Sawyer. I think he can now finally get over his past.

And the producers have said since very early on, this is not purgatory or hell. If it is, there will be some VERY angry fans out there. Me included.

I am really liking Lost this season. I lost interested last year but I really like it this year. I have always loved Sawyer...he was a jerk but he gets all the best lines and they are funny too. He reminds me of such a wounded man and his backstory is so sad. Can't stand Jack...never liked him. He is soooo arrogant.

Sing it with me now...

"Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
You been out ridin' fences for so long now.
Oh you're a hard one,
But I know that you've got your reasons,
These things that are pleasin' you,
Can hurt you somehow."

Oh, wow -- I couldn't agree with you more! I kept thinking I should like Jack, he's a doctor, a good guy, right? But he's just so angry and doesn't seem to have ANY sense of humor. I've never really understood what Kate sees in him.

Well, I figured since he was the "star" we should like him, but I couldn't figure out what was so likable about him. And as for Kate....can't figure that out either.

I liked him in the beginning but after awhile he did become tiresome and last season he became just plain annoying. As I said in my last post, to me most of the characters became either whiners or jerks, Jack joined the latter category.

I love LOST! It's one of my "don't miss" shows! Some characters can be annoying, but they all play off each other and somehow it wouldn't be the same without them IMO.

Has anyone else noticed how they have been messing with the "rules" of the island? Last weeks episode EyePatch guy( can't remember his name) said that wounds are different on the Island. But wouldn't that mean that the Marshall wouldn't have died in the first season? And what about Boone he should have healed after the fall. Do you have to be "special" to heal? And what exactly constitutes special? Also how did the guy who gave Locke the file get on the island? I am pretty sure he wasn't there before.

I truly love this show and all the conspiracy theories it generates. I agree that is seems very Stephen King, I would not be surprised if he is involved.

I watched last night also. I'm behind as I watched the first 2 seasons on DVD and within a few weeks. So I was trying not to watch this season, but couldn't help myself.

I don't think they are in purgatory, I think whatever the "others" are up they have a connections to big money. I think they planted the wreck in the middle of the ocean and replaced the missing bodies with different dead bodies.

Of course I'm curious about the big parts of the craft that were on the island. The nose in the jungle and the big section on the sand. I know that took that section out of the set. We are supposed to assume they moved their camps a little ways away from it.
