OH my...I finally learned this techniqe thanks to Silver's 2 sock tutorial!! Thank you for having it. It looked soooo hard before but it's not. I like it even more than 2 circulars! :D

Congratulations, and I agree 100%. I learned to do magic loop instead of getting 2 sets of needle tips, and I love it.

I'd love to do that--I've never tried either cause I thought it'd be too hard--maybe I'll look at Silver's tutorial. Glad I saw this, cause I haven't knitted socks in awhile cause it took so LONG!!

OTN--Just socks right now. Not good at more than 1 thing at a time!
I too am a first-time magic looper! :D I've started Silver's tut also but I'm waiting for my addi to show up because the boye I'm using is making my hands cramp from fighting the stiff loop.
For me, I know when I first try something new, it can seem so hard then later all of a sudden it just clicks!
When I practiced, I used worsted weight yarn on size 6 Options with a 40" cord. But I know on sock yarn I'll need a 1 or 0 but I only have a 24" lenght circular in those sizes and Options only comes in 32". So, those of you who magic loop...do you use the Options or do you just bite the bullet and get the Addi for those sizes?
