OT - My car is ruined!

I was just trying to find a parking space here at work and found one, so when I started to back up, I went over a curb. I pressed the brake, which turned out to be the gas, and went zooming by a tree. Now my beautiful little baby blue car is bashed up on the back driver's side end and my mirror on that side is dangling and mirrorless. I want to throw up.

Goodness!! That is not a good way to start the day.

But while this is horrible just remember it IS fixable. YOU are okay. As bad as it is, the things that are broken are things that are reparable. Breathe. Relax. It could have been MUCH MUCH worse.

While this isn't helping (sorry) I personally am thankful that YOU are safe. Cars/mirrors/trees are replacable. YOU are not.

Strangely, I can really feel your pain. When I was pregnant with my 2nd daughter, I had to park on the roof (3rd level) of this TINY parking garage at work. Being a TINY garage, it had an even TINIER access ramp. Well, you guessed it, one day I misjudged the turn while trying to get down at the end of the day, and completely scraped up the whole length of the right side of my car. UGH. I cried for a couple of hours, but finally came to the conclusion that I was OK, the baby was OK, so really, it was not *that* big a deal. :P It's all relative, right?
