Gauge
Please help! Gauge has changed. Can I just change needle size without unraveling what I've done?
Working on Top Down Cardigan for toddler. CABIN FEVER 2002 #606.
Pattern tension is 22 sts. over 4". My gauge swatch was on. The collar is finished and I'm 3" into the body. Rechecked gauge and it's off. I need to go up a needle size. I'm off 3 sts per 4". Should have 22 sts per 4" I have 25 sts. I'm donig the largest size on the pattern 2yrs. I'd like to just change needles on next row. I'm working on the Yoke with first bottonhole done.
Thanks

For a child's sweater, I think I'd just change needles, too. I seriously doubt that having the yoke a bit tighter is going to affect the fit of the sweater. I'd call it a personal design feature and move on.
