Yes. Though curling is part of the design, the dropped stitches and being knit on the bias keep it from curling as much as regular stockinette.

Ok, great! I actually started last night. I'm using some really pretty lace weight yarn, and size 3 needles, so it will probably look more like a scarf than a wrap, but this yarn just said, "I need to be a clapotis...I neeeed to be a clapotis!" So, I'm listening. I'll post pictures later.
I love the pictures with the ribbon yarn, they are so pretty!

I started knitting my clapotis at lunch. Sandra's spreadsheet is so great. It breaks it down line by line. I can't believe I was so afraid to start this and it is so much fun.

I printed off a Clapotis pattern just the other day -- not knowing there was a thread on it here! How cool is that?

I love the idea of using ribbon yarn. I just might have to splurge and jump in with you.
