Here's the HTML code, which I don't think will work:
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/59646927@N00/543571252/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1201/...8305505a41.jpg" width="500" height="371" alt="Supersoft Wool Neckwarmer for Dulaan Project" /></a>

Sorry....at least I tried.

Brownishcoat (Lisa) could probably figure it out. She's smart, and she has a Flickr account.

Hmm, that sounds like a good idea. That's my usual method of posting photos, too, and there's never a link. Let me try something and see if it works.

Edit, nope, it didn't work. I'll just stick with the way you posted earlier, but doesn't Flickr require that if you post the photos on an external site, that the photos have to have a link back to that original page?

Yup, this is my usual photo-entering method.

Aran Sweater

I've found that I prefer my Flickr account, http://www.flickr.com/photos/9031617@N02/ much more than Photobucket. Flickr doesn't have all those ads all over the place, and it seems much easier to navigate and work to me.

Heres how you use option one in Flikr and post to this forum

When you open the box with "reply to thread" there are various options above the window you type in. There are options for formatting your text, and the font etc. Then you get some pictoral options. The first one a globe with a chain link on top of it is the one you want. It is "insert URL"

My inserting will pee the mods off cos the size is wrong right now but anyway here goes:

Option 1 says: <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/mulene/314095636/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/117/314095636_757137b1ef_o.jpg" width="800" height="600" alt="third socks" /></a>

I click on "insert link" and paste that exact line into it and produce the following on this post:

">

It worked - but it posted the picture twice. So I just deleted one of the pics before I submitted the reply. I always try to do the link back to flickr because I don't want the flickr police to ban me! Now I know how do it easily! Yay! I never thought to use the link button.

Testing:

Here is the code for the above:

Code:
[URL_="imageurl"][IMG_]imageurl[/IMG][/url]
I had to add the underscores to "break" the code. It just keeps coming up as links or images, even with the "code" tags.
