2 FO's Baby blankie and Diaper bag
One of the girls that I work with is having a baby and we had a shower for her. I made her a diaper bag - I used the pattern for My Constant Companion but when it felted it shrunk a lot more width wise than length wise. I was disappointed when I took it out of the washing machine but my friend loved it so no harm done.

The second picture is the baby blankie I made for her son - his name will be Christian when he is born this week! I used Baby Cover by Laines Du Nord - a wonderful superwash merino wool. It is so soft and cuddly!

Lovely. I especially like the blanket. I haven't seen that yarn anywhere before. Was it easy to find?

Great job on both the bag and blanket. I haven't seen that blanket pattern. Is it available on-line? I love it!

Thanks all. This was the first time that I put pics of my FO's online. It made me feel so great to get all that wonderful feedback.

I found the yarn at my LYS - and it was on sale! The yarn is so soft - I hope the baby will love it. He is being born today (my friend is ebing induced this AM) and his name will be Christian. Am waiting to hear the official good news!

Those are such pretty looking gifts you made. The colours are pretty. I think I will start making blankets for friends who will have babies in the future.
