uh-oh....green gable help?

Im working on green gable, and im at the shaping. It says round 1... k to 2 sts before first underarm marker k2tog, slm, k to next underarm marker..... my problem? lol, when I removed the sleeves, i left the marker ON THE SLEEVE. I gues I didn't read the directions correctly....lol, can i just add the markers above where it is attached ON the sleeve so I can do it the right way? lol does that even make sense? LOL

If the marker is at the edge, then just move it to your working needles, if I'm understanding correctly.

If it's a removeable marker yep, take it off and put it on the needle at the same point.
