Bind off in pattern
Okay, I know how to bind but when you bind off, how do you do it? I have one friend who binds off and makes a double knot at the end close to where she did it at, but I don't know if there's an easier way to do it and make it look neater. My instructions say to bind off in pattern, how am I to do it 'in the pattern'?

To make the last stitch look neater, when you get to it put your rh needle into the stitch below the last one and knit like normal. Google for explanations of casting off in pattern. Basically instead of doing all knits that get slipped/passed over, you do what the pattern was. So for double ribbing,k1,k another, pass the 1st knit over the second one, purl one, pass the knit over the purl and drop off, purl another one, pass over the first purl and drop off, knit one, pass over the purl and drop off, knit another...

I will definitely try that. I'm getting ready to bind off and am so glad I checked to see if someone replied. Thanks so much :D
