MY version of the Booga Bag
This is MY Booga Bag....... well it really isn't a Booga Bag, it's what happens when you read the pattern and decide to make a "few improvements". I made it MUCH bigger and wider. I also made a inner liner out of plastic mesh canvas to give it shape.

I am using this bag as a knitting tote. Took my first out of town trip this weekend with it and it held my project and supplies wonderfully!

ginny- i love your 'booga'... what sort of changes did you make and what yarn did you use? i am going to knit another, but i would like it wider/taller to hold projects.....

Well, it's hard to say exactly because I just started knitting..... I used Noro Kuereyon but 10 skeins. I made the base knitting the rows across the wide way (the pattern has short rows in the opposite direction). When I added the stitches around the base I added more per inch to give the base a little fullness, it has a slight gathered appearance to it. And finally I made it wider than higher so the top opening would be big to reach in and get things out of it easily.

that looks AMAZING! if mary poppins had a knitting bag, that would be it.

ignore the double post. something strange was going on with my laptop and the site. i reset my network, and when i tried to come back, i just got the "internet explorer cannot..." page. very strange.
