Hope it's alright to post this here:
If you knit OR crochet hats, Warming Families need you! We can't do this alone!

We have partnered with Lands End to create 25,000 hats for the homeless and those in need across the USA from Sept till Dec 31st 2009 and we need help!

For more info on it go here:

There are chapters all across the country and you can find those by clicking on the link on the left hand side of that page.

If you need patterns!! Boy, do I have patterns:

And I would love to have you make my chapter a hat or 2!

Happy hatting!!

Forever Warm was created to provide parents of stillborn children with a blanket that they can wrap their children in for pictures and/or burial. Parents are also given the choice to keep the blanket as a personal keepsake to remember their child.
We now donate to NICUs as well as OB wards. I'm currently in the process of recruiting hospitals in the Greater Indianapolis Area for my local chapter. Included in this list is Riley Children's Hospital Level III Nicu and the St. Vincent Women's Hospital OB and NICU wards.

I plan on making my next donation in December 2009 and then again in March 2010. I donate to the hospitals in person. If you would like to donate a blanket please pm me. Thank you
~ Melissa ~
