Slipper
Hi! This is the first time I am asking a question. I am making a slipper. I have gotten to the "Shape heel". It says-bind off 12 sts beg of next 2 rows-10 sts rem. Work in Garter st on rem sts until 2 1/2 " above bind-off sts. Bind off rem 10 sts. What does this mean?

It may be easier once you get to that part and you actually do it. BO 12 sts, knit to the end of the row, turn and BO 12 sts, knit to the end which will be over the 10sts that are leftover. Keep knitting these 10 sts in garter stitch for another 2 1/2", then bind them off. It will be the heel flap, and further on, directions will be given for how to put it together.
