I keep them to do contrasting colors for heels and toes, or baby socks.

eftover sock yarn
I divide the yarn into two equal balls and then just get creative.:grin:

You can also check out these books for ideas for sock yarn. If you only have remnants you might need to combine, but it could be cool. Also check the Stash Buster thread in the Pattern Central forum.
