Someone help me with the math.
I did the cast on.. I have knitted to the point of stating the shape of the armhole. I have bind off the 3 sts on both sides. I was about to do the bind off of the 2 sts. when I counted my sts to make sure I was going to end up with 67. I will have 73 sts lefts. What I'm I doing wrong.

cast on 83 sts. Shape armholes Bind off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Next Row (RS) Bind off 3 sts as foll: Bind off first st, drop the next st all the way down to the bottom of piece, bind off over the one dropped st as above (see Note), k across row. Next Row (WS) Bind off as for previous armhole except as to p, p across row. Bind off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows-67 sts.
I bind off the 3 sts, then knitted the row, turned-- bind off 3 then purl turned-- bind off 2, knit,, turn ---bind off 2 purl,, That makes a count of 10,, where is the 6 sts that I am NOT losing?
Thanks for the help.
