Has anyone made one of these teddy bears before? I'm trying to as a gift for my sister and my head and body are un-proportional making me not want to continue and I can't figure out where I've gone wrong.

Any one know of any better free teddy bear patterns?

I haven't made the Magknits version, but as far as free a lot of folks seem to like Berroco's Harry Bear - apparently not too difficult either.

I just got Sandra Polley's The Knitted Teddy Bear book, and am starting tonight!!
