LYS in London?
My parents and I are going to London with week, and we have some free time there. I was wondering if anyone knew of any LYS? We're staying at the Langham Hotel.

I'm going in Sept so I hope someone answers. I think you can get really good prices on Rowan and Colinette

I have been to London twice in the last several years and the only yarn I have found is at department stores... Liberty, John Lewis and Peter Jones. All three were fun stores with yarn departments but I was disapointed to not find an LYS !

Creations

Branch in Barnes South West London, Branch in Chiswick, West London

Stash Yarns - Putney - newly opened by the girls who created the south west London S&B

Loop, Islington, North London

iKnit London - Vauxhall (one stop down from Waterloo station) they have a shop, a group and various other things

John Lewis - Good department store in Oxford street - great selection though not a good selection of needles.

Liberty London - horrific. Has totally gone downhill and the last time I was there the service was appalling and the selection left much to be desired.

hth!
