Knitting leg bands on a bathing suit
I am knitting a bikini and I am now in the process of making the leg bands on the bikini bottom. I have sewn up the side seams and now it is telling me to do the following: With right sides facing, beg at side seam and using a set of 3 mm needles, knit up 122 sts evenly around leg opening. Knit 1 round. Cast off.

How am I supposed to do this?

They want you to pick up and knit the stitches around the leg hole.

Amy has video here.
