While a great method for blocking lace, I'm not so sure about it for dry clean only lace.
I definitely wouldn't do the full immersion soak. Perhaps lightly spraying it or gently steaming it is your best bet. And like knitasha said, try it out on a swatch if you have one. In my experience, it's the silk that's going to react the most adversely to the liquid.
