My first lace project done!
Well I finally finished the diamond lace scarf for ISE4. It was my first lace project...very frusterating but rewarding at the same time. It was also the first time I've blocked anything, I think I did an alright job at it. You can read about it and see more pics in my blog.

Great job!! I saw your post over on the ISE blog. I'm nervous to block my scarf - I'll have to go check out your blog.

Kristin, it wasn't as hard as I thought. The only thing is that the scarf now sticks out in points on the side where I had it pinned. It actually looks kind of cool, but that's not the way it was supposed to be. Maybe next time I'll invest the wires to block lace.

Well, that would be fine with mine because it is actually sort of curvy on the sides. I've never seen the wires?

Awesome job! Very beautiful. I just finished my first lace project, and I totally hear you about the frustrating part.
