What is the difference between member rank (like junior, senior, or just plain member)? How does it change?

Pretty sure it's based on your post count. A junior would be brand new, (the norm is around under 30 posts on other boards... ill guess the same here) member is under 100 (i think) and after 100 posts you would rank as a senior member.

Just 100 posts? Really? What's up with the "thanks" feature going on here now, too?

If your post is helpful or appreciated, someone can click "thanks" and you can see in your profile who has thanked you in total.

Sheldon also said he's probably going to raise the number of post counts to rank, because everybody is becoming a senior member so quickly.
