Thoughts on Knitpicks Options?
Hey everyone! Does any have the Knitpicks Options set? I am really getting into knitting and want to start doing a lot of cool stuff like hats and socks, and I definitely want to do the Magic Loop knitting. I kind of want to treat myself to a nice set of something like Knitpicks Options, and so I'm wondering whether people who have this set really like it. Is there another set similar to this which might be better, or is the Options set good?

Please share comments. :D

There's a stickied thread at the top that discusses this issue. I love my Options though.

Oh, sorry. I looked . . . where can I find it at?

Edit: Ahh, that'd be an interchangeable needle set. Sorry, friends. :D

Rachel,
I have had my set for 2 weeks and love themthe connection is smooth--the needles comfortable to work with, the cords are fantastic almost as if they were not even there.

One thing I want to mention (and I did this in another thread too) is that you don't have to buy the whole set to try it out. Spend $15, get a cable and a set of tips, and decide from there if you want to get the whole thing. Worst case? You end up with duplicate tips and cables (oh so sad!).

If you order a cable length that doesn't come with the set (set includes 24" and 32" cable sets), you don't have to worry about duplicate cable sets. Also, if you use the larger needle sizes frequently, the 13-15-17 don't come as part of the set, so no duplicates for ordering those either.

The best duplicate size to order would be the size 4, because it can always be used as the left needle when knitting in the round.

i simply adore my options. i went for broke and ordered the whole set, including the binder right off the bat. i've never regretted it. i have extra cables and the 13, 15, 17 tips as well as the 0-3 classics that are permanently joined (too fragile to be interchangable). they are wonderful!

No matter which interchangeable set you choose they are worth the investment. Lots less expensive in the long run than buying a bunch of individual circs. I have two sets of the Denise and love them!
