How to make a nice loose bind off?

I am trying to bind off something I've been working on for a while. I've bound off and un-bound off several times because the bound off row is never stretchy and loose enough. I've tried all of the methods posted on this site. Does anybody have any other suggestions?

How about these ones.

Bind off using bigger needles, up to 2-3 sizes larger.
or
the decrease bind off is:-
*knit 2 tog, slip st. back to left needle*, repeat across.
or
For single rib bind off, the sewn one,
Knit-One Purl-One Bind-Off
on this site is slow but also good.

I do one that's called 'Yarn Over BO.' Easy to adjust to the desired 'looseness.'

K first st
Do YO
Lift K st over YO
K next st
Lift YO over K st

Rep last four steps. Place the YOs every other, every 2nd, 3rd...whichever works for your need.

I've never seen the YOBO(!) before, and it makes such sense to add in that extra bit of slack between stitches. I'm looking forward to trying it.

I ALWAYS CO and BO using larger needles. Sometimes 4 sizes bigger, depending on how loose I need it. Works GREAT!

You can also try the sewn bind-off. It's incredibly stretchy, you just have to make sure you aren't pulling the yarn too tight. Thread your working yarn onto a needle, and go into the first two stitches as if to purl. Go back into the first stitch on the needle as if to knit and drop it from the needle. Rinse, wash, repeat.
