FO: Window Curtains
I just finished, and put up these curtains. I used Sugar n Cream cotton yarn, and the pattern came from This book:
http://www.knitpicks.com/Home+Knits_BD30806.html

They turned out so soft, and I think the color really complements my new purple utility room. Please, excuse the mess in the backyard. We're having some work done.

Very clever to knit a divided valance like that. Look very nice. Thanks for showing it. No worries on your back yard. Your curtains are neat to see.

Those are great, very inspirational.:happydancing:
I've been toying with the idea of a knitted valence. I had seen that book on line and had no idea there was such a pattern in it.

What color did you use?

I used this yarn:
http://www.sugarncream.com/product.p...arncreamtwists
the color is called 'summer twists'

The yarn looks more like the color on the website. My picture is pretty dark, and I'm too techology challanged to know how to brighten it up. lol

Thank you for the compliments.
Jennifer

I know this isn't the proper forum for this, but I just have to post this picture of my babies. I hope y'all don't mind.

Oh, I have a kitchen window that I've been thinking of making curtains for.

Your's look great!!! Such inspiration for me now!

Can you take a close-up of one of them so I can get an idea of the pattern?

Thanks!!

It's just stockenette, with a crocheted border. They're very easy.
