Thanks for the kind words, ladies

Vicky, would you say that the pattern is true to size? I'm new to knitting tops and wondering how the sizes work. Did you knit a smaller size than you normally are? You can PM me if you want. Your top fits you great!
Holly, I would say that it's true to size. I made the size S and added extra decreases for the waist and did the optional increases (3) for my hips. I'm 34D - 26 - 36 and for every other pattern I've made so far, I've had to make an XS (which I certainly am not!), even when I'm spot on gauge. I hope that helps

Yay Meghan!! It looks great so far!

Mine...gah! It's finished, but the top rolls like mad. I tried to pick up and purl--blech. I did some crochet around the top, which helped the curl somewhat, but the front is as wonky as before--it actually curves upward!

I'll get dh to get a photo later. I may end up having to re-knit the thing. Again. But I love the pattern so much, and in every other respect it fits like a dream, so I think the re-knit will be worth it. Just sad I can't wear it yet.

My Eyelet Cardigan kit should arrive today or tomorrow, so that will soothe the pain somewhat

'Tis done!

The photo is awful. My husband is not the most patient photographer.

Looking good Meghan and Angelia!!! I can see what you mean about the curling though. But it fits great!!! And neither of you look like what I pictured. I don't mean that in a bad way at all.

Way to tough it out for the sake of knitting Meghan!

Well I got the sleeves off the needles but I think I am going to do a few more C repeats. I feel like the armholes are going to be too small. I tried to try it on but it was very difficult to do without losing stitches. How does everyone do it??

I put the armhole stitches on very long pieces of waste yarn so that if they pull, I'm safe.

Oh, and voice of experience: when you do the ribbing for the sleeves, bind off looooooosely. My bind-off, which I thought was loose, is bordering on too tight. In fact, I wouldn't even go to the smaller needles to knit those three rows of ribbing.

Good to know about the ribbing-- thanks! I'll probably stick with my sz 6 DPNs then since I don't have sz 4's right now!

I've already started the Eyelet Cardigan... I'm about 6 inches in. The yarn is hugemongous, so this is going to be one quick knit indeed! Too bad it's not a raglan.

I'm going to knit another GG soon, though. This time in a cotton blend.

Did misread the GG directions, or were the stitches knit through the yarnovers supposed to be ktbl? The holes hardly show at all on mine.

You are going to be done the cardigan before I even finish GG. Weird that your holes aren't that big. It was just YO and K2TOG. I'm sure the yarn used affects how it looks.

I finally managed to go back a round and get the sleeves back on the needles. I'm thinking I'll do 3 more C repeats.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

i thought this would be a quick knit, but with my finger it's turning out to be a longer project then i'd hoped.
angelia is going to do 3 or 4 sweaters in the time i do mine!
