hi,

I'm just practicing different stitches. I'm trying to figure out how to do teh sand Stitch. I think that is what it's called. It's kind od bumpy when it's done.

I've done a lot of playing with stitches. I have an old Mon Tricot stitch book I got new (about 30 years ago) and I tried out a lot of stitch patterns from it.

Do you think they still have the booK? Right now I have a book from th lubrary and vidoes on -line. Hard to follw them.

I'm not sure it's in print anymore. It's a combo of knit and crochet stitches. There are many stitch books around - Vogue, Barbara Wallker, The Big Book and more. Another resource is the stitch pattern page at http://www.knittingfool.com which has a lot of patterns from BW's books. What do you find hard to follow about the book and/or videos?
