Loop Cast On
I'm starting a pattern that says to use the Loop Cast On. I watched the video and it seems easy enough, but my pattern calls for an odd number of stitches to be cast on. In the video it looks like it is intended for even numbers. Can you do just half of this cast on?

I would interpret Loop cast-on as backward loop. You can do any number. In fact, I can't think of a cast on that needs an even or odd number of stitches.

oh ok... I didn't watch the backward loop video. I watched the invisible cast on because it said it was also known as the looped cast on. That makes much more sense because I couldn't figure out why I would need to take the second string out of my work later.
