Help with reading a knitting pattern (baby hats)
I am a new knitter and am trying to complete a baby hat. I have the instruction and I am at the point where I need to start decreasing my rows. Can someone please help me understand what to do?
Decrease Rows. (my thoughts/understanding in red)
Row1-- Knit 3 knit 2 together across (knit 3 separately and then knit 2 together?)
Row2--Purl 2 Purl 2 together across (purl 2 separately and then purl 2 together?)
Row 3 -Knit 1 Knit 2 together across (knit 1 separately and then knit 2 together?)
row 4--Knit 2 together across.

Welcome to KH.

That's right. Just keep doing the same stitch sequence to the end. On row 4 it will be all k2tog, all decreases.
