Everyone's things look so nice. Renoah, that five pointed ghan is a delight. It reminds me of starfish and trips to the beach.

I love all these afghans I am making one now with granny squares but I am thinking about starting over and learning a new technique like the ripple or something!!Just what I need, thanks guys for tempting me to stray from my knitting cause I only have 5 projects going now I guess it's time to get the hook going too!!LOL

I just finished a round ripple for my neighbor. I just used some Caron One Pounder in off white color.

I'm working on a very basic shrug at the moment. Actually, it's finished by way of the pattern, but I would like to give it a cleaner edge.

It's made from Red Hearts mohair blend "Symphony" and is as light as a feather.

Any thoughts on a finish that won't take away from the airyness of the piece...I was thinking something decorative like a Picot, but it's a little tricky with the fuzzy nature of this yarn. It's texturally
treacherous when trying to correct a mistake. (knotting of the "have to cut it" kind!) and I'd hate to ruin the effort no matter how small.

Sigh,

, maybe I should I just let it be the simple piece that it is and finish with a basic SC...?

I started a round ripple for my niece's baby shower. I showed my progress so far to her mother (my sister) and her only comment was, "Why would the baby need a giant doily?!" I refuse to e-mail her back!!!
