My very first sock
Its nothing special but I had some difficulties and never thought I would get it done and to top it off it fits my foot. Lots of thanks to Silver for her great tutorial. When I was working on this sock my projected start date for the other one was 2008. Now that its done I want to start right away. Nobody in my life gets why Im so excited!

We understand why you're excited. Your first sock! That's something to be proud of. And the fact that you're still planning to make the mate is cool too. My first sock never had a partner, because I could never get another one to look as bad as my first.

Way to go!
Joe

It looks great and fits you well. I love to wear the socks I've made for myself. I'm sure you will make more and more and more...

That's wonderful! Pretty soon you'll be taking off your shoes everywhere you go so you can show off your socks.
