My pattern for my tank top finally arrived, and because the yarn has been discontinued, I need to find a different one that will work. The discontinued yarn (vista from filatura di crossa) is described as "70% cotton and 30% nylon, mesh-like woven-in-the-round yarn" and is bulky weight.
Any suggestions?

What's the pattern's yarn gauge? That should be one of the things to look for. Does the company that makes filatura di crosa make a comparable yarn?

reminds me of the description of the Bella Colour yarn that's at discontinuednamebrandyarn.com. I have some in the grey/white colors and it has that woven mesh type and I'm pretty sure it is a cotton blend.

I've always had great ordering experiences with this company. and in my opinion their prices are pretty good. You do want to buy enough at one time, as "discontinued" is part of their name....
